Mo Minicus graduated from Williams College in 1990.  She was a two-time All-American in Field Hockey, as well as the first-ever First Team All-American women's lacrosse player from Williams College.  Upon graduation, she received the Purple Key Trophy which is awarded to a senior male and female athlete who best exemplify leadership, team spirit, ability and character. From 1990-1992, Mo completed a graduate assistantship from Tufts University where earned a Masters in Education, while serving as the assistant field hockey and women's lacrosse coach.  After Tufts, Mo was hired as the Head Varsity Field Hockey and Women's Lacrosse Coach at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME.  She coached from 1992-1996, posting a 48-16 record in field hockey and winning the 1995 ECAC Championship.  From 1996-1999, Mo taught physical education and coached field hockey, squash and lacrosse at Rye Country Day School.  Then in 1999,  she moved to Darien and has been the Head Varsity Field Coach since 2000.

Mo's coaching awards while at Darien are as follows: FCIAC Coach of the Year 2003, 2007, 2008; CHSCA Coach of the year 2003, 2008; FCIAC Fall Sports Coach of the Year 2007; Outstanding Coach of the Year in CT 2009; NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year 2010; NFHCA National Coach of the Year 2010; Fairfield County Sportsperson of the Year 2011; NFHCA Southern NE Coach of the Year 2013, CT High School Hall of Fame inductee 2014; FCIAC Coaching Hall of Fame inductee 2016; New Agenda - Northeast Hall of Fame 2018.  Mo recently celebrated her 400th career win! 

Mo is a lifelong coach of field hockey and cannot imagine doing anything else but teaching, coaching and inspiring girls to love the sport she loves.



Head Goalie Coach for CT Elite - Has coached GK's in Fairfield County for over 18 years.  Former coach of National Championship GK Amanda Hendry, Rutgers Coach Maddy Sposito, Morgan Connors and many others.   Played GK at Division 1 Sacred Heart University 




Mikayla is currently a starter on the Sacred Heart University Field Hockey Team.  Before Sacred Heart, Mikayla was a four-time Forward of the Year for Old Bridge High School in New Jersey.  She was also First Team All-North Jersey selection, four-time All Star, and four-time All-Conference.  She was the team captain and lead her team to winning seasons every year.  





Ally is currently a starter on the Sacred Heart University Field Hockey Team.  Before Sacred Heart, Ally was a three-time All-Conference player for Gloucester Catholic High School in New Jersey.  She was also team captain and team MVP.  





Samantha is a former goalkeeper at Western Connecticut State University. She joined the team in 2017. She majored in Secondary English Teaching. While at WestConn, she earned Dean's List. She is from Stamford, Connecticut. Prior to Western Connecticut State University, Samantha attended Westhill High School. While in high school, Samantha was named All-West Honorable Mention, MVP her junior year, and received the Captain's Award. This is her first season coaching for CT Elite, where she will be serving as a goalie specialist.



CT Elite is so lucky to have Freddie coaching both goalies and defense.  A former goalkeeper from Greenwich High School, Freddie went on to play at the college level at Dickinson.  She played in the Maccabi Games.   Freddie is now a teacher in the Fairfield County area and loves paying it forward to come back and coach the great sport we all love.  It's full circle too, bc Emily was her coach at the club level. 


Euan is currently the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Fairfield University. In his first season with the team, Fairfield won the NEC and made it to the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. As the Assistant Coach, Euan is responsible for the technical skill development and match preparation of the team. Euan is from Scotland. He coached at the Performance Academy HPC Scotland. Played for University of Stirling Dundee Wanderers Hockey Club and throughout high school. Euan has a lot of experience coaching field hockey at all levels. He coached full-time at Edinburgh Academy and was responsible for coaching boys U13s and U15s. He was the assistant coach with Dundee Wanderers Women's Indoor team and won two EuroHockey competition medals. Euan also served as a Performance Analyst for the Scottish Hockey working with the Men's National Team in the 2019 season in World Series Finals and EuroHockey Championships (highest level in Europe). Euan is excited to coach with CT Elite!



Jamie Carnegie is the director of field hockey for the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.  He has been a consultant for CT Elite Hockey for 4 years now.  He visits often.  He holds a UKCC Level 3 Certification.  He was voted The Scottish Hockey Coach of the Year in 2014.  His responsibilities at St. Andrews include oversight of 6 men's teams and 6 women's teams. 

A trip to St. Andrews Scotland might be in the works one summer, so keep an eye and ear out for this great international hockey experience.  



Damien is a member of the Men's USA National Field Hockey Team.  He was a member of the Hong Kong Junior National Team.   Originally from Norwalk CT, he was a top player for the Men's 1st Team at St Andrews in Scotland and currently attends Dartmouth College. Damien recently competed in the International Junior World Cup.


Kristen played for FC United and HTC Hockey Clubs. She attended Providence College. Kristen has been a coach for Wilton Youth Field Hockey for three seasons. Currently, Kristen is working in marketing at MBI Inc. in Norwalk. 


Kylie is from Wilton, Connecticut. She played field hockey at Wilton High School. Kylie has coached for Wilton Youth Field Hockey for four years. She has also coached Wilton Youth Lacrosse for three years. This is her first year coaching for CT Elite and she is looking forward to it!



Natalie is a former player from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.  She is also the current Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Manhattanville College. Currently, she is getting her Masters in Sports Business. While at JWU, she played midfield. Natalie made Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad three years in a row. Prior to JWU, she went to Newton High School in New Jersey. While at Newton, she was a three-time selection by the New Jersey Field Hockey Coaches Association, NJ.com, New Jersey Athletic Conference, and NJ Herald. Her senior year she was named Mugs Media Player of the Year after scoring twenty-three goals and had nineteen assists. 


Abbey is currently a junior starter on the Manhattanville College Field Hockey Team. Prior to coming to Manhattanville College, she played field hockey at Belmont Abbey College. Prior to college, Abbey attended Leigh High School. While at Leigh High School, she was the team captain. Abbey also was named 1st Team All-Conference senior year of high school. Her senior year she scored thirty-one goals and had twenty-six assists while leading the team to a perfect 18-0 season. She is from San Jose, California. 


Felicity is currently a junior starter on the Manhattanville College Field Hockey Team. She was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad in 2019. This past season, she played in all eighteen games scoring seven goals with three assists for seventeen points. Before Manhattanville, Felicity attended Glen Falls Senior High School in Glen Falls, New York. In high school, Felicity was a four-year varsity field hockey member, a three-year honor roll selection, and was a second team field hockey all-star as a junior and senior. 




Catherine is a former standout player from the National Championship team - UNC.  Named All-ACC second-team in 2019, and in 2018 named ACC Academic Honor Roll and the NFHCA National Academic Squad, Catherine knows what it takes to balance rigorous athletics with academics. Prior to UNC she attended The King School Canterbury in England.    Catherine has coached indoor with a local North Carolina Team for three years while attending UNC, and she played a ton of indoor herself, as Karen Shelton - legendary UNC coach - saw the value of indoor as paramount to her team's development.  We are thrilled to have Catherine join our coaching squad!





Greta Ell graduated from UVA as an All-American player.   She is currently the Sacred Heart University Assistant Coach. Ell played all four years of field hockey at the University of Virginia, where she earned All-American Honors and All-ACC accolades.  She was selected to play in the NFHCA Senior All-Star Game.  She helped the Cavaliers to a 2016 All-ACC Tournament Championship and was named the 2015 ACC Rookie Of the Year.  A four-year honor roll student at UVA, she was selected team captain her senior season.   




Brittany Robertson was a four-year member of the Immaculata field hockey team where she played in 60 career games.  She recorded eight goals and three assists to finish her career with 19 points.  Robertson graduated from Immaculata College in May 2017.  She began her coaching career in March 2017 when she was a United Field Hockey Club coach.  She served as head coach of tournaments, managed practices and provided feedback for individual players.  She is currently the assistant coach of the Long Island University Division 1 College Program.   She was previously the graduate assistant coach of SUNY Cortland where she was responsible for assisting the head coach with recruiting and scouting for upcoming games, monitoring study hall and student-athlete academics, while also scheduling and planning meals for players during home and away contests.  She played a crucial role in facilitating instruction during practices and games and assisted the head coach with promoting the team on social media outlets.  




Jessica Smith is currently the Ridgefield High School Varsity Coach.  This is Jessica's third year with CT Elite Hockey Team.  Jessica Smith was a standout player at Division 1 Siena College.  





Joanne is a former star player from Dartmouth College.  She is also the current freshman year coach at Wilton High School.  She has been coaching with CT Elite for three years.  She was a former club member of Fairfield County United and has been through the club, college and high school scene here in Fairfield County which adds a ton of insight to her coaching abilities.
